After Pal Hotel in Patna, now six members of a family died due to massive fire in Darbhanga. The wedding guests were bursting fireworks at the wedding ceremony at midnight on Thursday. The tent caught fire before the spark from the firecracker. Within no time the fire spread throughout the pandal. During this time the cylinders kept there started blasting. The fire emanating from this caught the gallon of diesel kept at Ramchandra Paswan’s door. Due to this the fire took a terrible form. Six people from Ramchandra Paswan’s family died. The condition of some people is serious.

The incident took place in Antor village of Bahera police station of Alinagar block of the district. It is being told that it was the marriage of Chhagan Paswan’s daughter. Arrangements for the stay and food of the wedding guests were made at the residential complex of neighboring Ramchandra Paswan. The wedding guests came and started bursting with fireworks. Due to this the pandal caught fire. The fire took a huge form due to the explosion in the cylinder and diesel gallon. Soon it engulfed the house of Ramchandra Paswan as well. By the time the family present in the house could control themselves, the fire had spread to all the rooms.

There was panic in the area after the incident. A crowd of people gathered. Local people started trying to control the fire but could not succeed. After this the fire brigade team was informed. By the time the fire brigade team reached here, six people present in Ramchandra Paswan’s house were caught in the fire. The dead include Ramchandra Paswan’s son Sunil Paswan, his wife and sister Kanchan Devi and their two sons and a daughter.
